My Lastest Love: Eye Crayons

Hey! Its Phoebs :)
The first real lip product I got into was lip crayons, so it was only soon enough I would jump on the eye crayon band wagon. I purchased 3 from rimmel, and I am in love.
These cost me £3.19 a pop, such a bargin. The middle one (100 Rose Gold) I think is limited edition at boots. The left one is 011 bluffing and on the right I have 003 bad girl bronze.
The pigmentation of these is brilliant, the staying power is alright, but nothing like maybelline colour tatoos or anything. My favourite shade is Rose Gold.
These particular ones are not retractable, but in general lip crayons are, so extra product! For the price however, I am not complaining.

Eye crayons are so handy for summer, one swipe on each lid, a bit of blending out, flick of mascara and your good to go. These have been my staple lately, however if anyone else has any other brand recomendations, please tell me!

Definately keep one of these in your summer bag, for £3.19 it is well worth it.

Hope you enjoyed this review style post and found it helpful.

How I Style: Trousers

Hey! Its phoebs :)
Over my time as a blogger, I have done various 'how I style' posts, which I have enjoyed doing. Here is another one on how I style trousers. These trousers are baggy but tight on the band and the ankles. They seem quite intimidating to wear, but hopefully I can give you some style ideas.
Look 1 is quite an edgy look and monochromatic.
I love this look and think it would be suitable for going out in. I love how bold the look is. The trousers really stand out, but the look is put together via the accesories and the cut of the top. I look like a right misery guts in this picture, but this is one of my favourite pictures I have taken. Due to the rain my usual outdoors set up isnt worth it.

Scrunchie: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: primark
Top: Topshop
Trousers: New Look
Socks: Topshop
Shoes: Primark

Just because the trousers are baggy does not mean the outfit is 'lazy'. My top also isnt fitted yet these two pieces work.
I can't not have a silly photo can I? Haha

Look 2 is bright and summery.
Usually when you have one statement piece, you tone the outfit down. But because my 'statement' is black and white, the pop of colour from my vest pumps up this outfit. I would wear this on holiday or even going shopping with friends once school is over.
Artistic angle. Yeah....

These trousers surpringly do wonders for your legs. You can feel confident and comftorble because no shorts/skin tight trousers are being worn, yet in these style trousers your legs look great.
Top: H&M.   Shoes: New Look

I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful. Get experimenting, you will love these trousers, pinky promise! What do you want to see next in the 'how I style' series? Comment below :)

Blogger Competition- My outfit from Kylie at M and Co

Hey! Its phoebs :)
During the week I got contacted by the brand M and Co asking me if I wanted to take part in a competition they had running. Of course I got very excited and said yes, Before I show you the outfit I created let me tell you a bit about the brand.

M and Co started as a department store 50 years ago and now has 300 stores throughout the UK. Kylie is a collection specifically designed for teens. It is great when you dont shop in the kids section but do not fit into quite everything in the womens section. I have only briefly checked out the brand before I got emailed, and now I have seen the Kylie teens range I love it! It is not too expensive either, which is a plus. Here is the outfit I created from the range under £100.
This outfit is something I would wear in the evenings whilst on holiday. I love the bold colour of the dress and how the other pieces are quite monochromatic.

The first item on my wish list, is this coral coloured shift dress for £20.
I am loving shift dresses at the moment. I think styled right they look stunning. Because it is not a 'normal' dress shape it is quite out there and especially with this coral colour I love it!

I absoloutely love this denim look shirt for £12.
I would unbutton this and wear it more as a denim jacket. One of these is super versatile and a lot cheaper than a denim jacket. I love the colour of this, because it is light it is quite summery, and it enhanses the dress.

Next on my wishlist is these over the knee socks for £2.50
Over the knee socks are a cute trend that can be worn all year. Teaming these with a dress might seem mad but I think it would look preppy. And for 2.50 you cannot go wrong.

As I would wear this look in the evening, An up-do would be great. This hair scrunchie would really tie the look together.
It is £3 and I think would go perfectly with the socks. It is great to get your hair up and out of your face for summer, so I think this would be amaze for spicing up messy buns.

Finally, you cannot forget shoes. I am going for a simple, understated shoe: the classic black pump.
These are £8 and again, could be worn with almost anything. As this look is quife bold, a simple shoe would finish it off.

All in all, On my wishlist is 5 items and the grand total price is £45.50! Such amazing prices! If I do win the competition I will of course do an actuall OOTD for you all to get a better idea of the look I am going for. If you are interested in checking out Kylie at M and Co, go to the M and Co link at the top of this post and click on the tab 'Kylie' .

OOTD- Casual Spring Day

Heyy! Its phoebs :)
This outfit was from last weekend when the weather was a little better. I really liked the look, it is my ideal spring outfit
                                Top: Boohoo
Jeans: Topshop
I love the pattern on the top, it is really summery.

Sunglasses: Hotel Shop in Portugal (sorry!)
I really like skinny jeans, but I thought rolling them up made them look more like classy boyfriend jeans.
                                 Flip Flops: Primark

At this point when taking outfit photos, I usually go a bit silly haha
Action Shot eey!

Sorry I have been slightly 'off the ball' when it comes to blogging recently- it is that time in the term where everything becomes slightly overwhelming and my priorites become a blur. I will definately be posting at least once a week, but I cannot quite promise more than that, though I hope I should be able to. In half term I will be revising, but I will be able to write loads of posts to publish over time, so yaay for that.

I have a problem, I call it OWCB- Obsessed With Chuck Bass. For those of you who do not know, chuck bass is a character in gossip girl who is utterly gorgeous and him and blair are perfect!
(Ed westwick, who plays chuck)
Anyways he is the first person who I REALLY fan girl over. It has too stop. I am sure its not normal.

How has everyone's week been? Anything exciting happened? Please comment/tweet me if there are any post suggestions you want me to do. Seem to have limited ideas and I want to vary the content.

This week I have had to learn about how maybe the best form of love is to take the pain away. Well I didnt learn that, it was probably what the doctors said. Every descion we make changes our life, I know, cliche. You have to remember the good times and even though the ending isnt the happiest, at least the story was amazing. Isn't it funny how one person can influence so many people? Suddenly no one wants to make fatal mistakes they will regret. You get to see different parts of everyone, and we cling onto the best parts for comfort. Everyone will surprise you.

Enjoy your week and remember YOLO haha
P.s sorry I got a bt deep, hope it wasnt too heavy! :)

Audrey Hepburn Eye Makeup Tutorial

Heyy! Its phoebs :)
Yesterday would of been Audrey Hepburns 85th birthday. In honour of this beauty icon I thought I would share with you guys this audrey hepburn eye makeup tutorial.

First off, I'm gonna start with brows. Recently to give my brows more 'stick' I spray a hair volumising spray onto my spooley and comb my brows into the desired shape. Personally my brows are thicker than Audrey's but I combed them into an arch as best I could. Just do your brows to suit you.

For filling in my brows I took a brown eyeliner pencil and did light strokes through my brow and creating a more defined arch. I did this very naturally and lightly, like Audrey's.
Brows done.

For eyeshadows I will just be using the smokin eyes pallete by benefit.

I took the pink colour on my real techniques brush and packed it on all over the lid. To get a more pinky colour I rubbed in the creamy colour over the top,
In my crease I took the grey colour on the brush from the set and really tried to define the crease.
I took the black eyeshadow in the outer corner and outer crease on my mini ecotools brush and really gave the outer corner and crease more definition. This also helps to give the illusion of more rounded eyes. Finally I took the black eyeliner from the set and lightly drew a line through the crease, for maximum definition. This eyeliner does not glide onto the lid so was perfect for further depthening crease.
For eyeliner I used this black liquid liner along my upper lashline, getting slightly thicker towards the outer corner.
I then I applied mascara whilst the eyeliner was fully drying. I concentrated the mascara on the outer lashes and lower lashes. You could use false lashes like Audrey but to make this look wearable I thought there was no need.
And lastly, I took the brown eyeliner used for my brows in the outer two thirds of the water line. I also heard that Audrey used brown eyeliner regulary so I drew this brown liner over the top of my black after it had dried to avoid smuding. Audreys liner always looked emaculate so try your best not to smudge it.
Finished! look

If you think the look is getting a bit datk just apply pink eyeshadow where you think extra is needed.

(Ignore my skin, I had no base makeup on)
There we have it, an Audrey Hepburn inspired eyemakeup look. If you have any questions/requests for blog posts please comment below, and if your reading via blog lovin (which you can follow me on by clicking somewhere to the right of this post) remember to like it so I know you enjoyed it!
